Letter Writing Addresses Due

Please email your excel spread sheet of addresses to Steve Anderson at the Contact email below. This is very important.

Please follow through. It often takes us quite a while to complete this step and clean up the addresses. 1.) Immediately open the attached document on your home computer if you have excel or an excel compatible spread sheet program. If you don't have a spread sheet program, please open the document at school or at a work computer that has excel.
2.) Enter as many addresses of friends, family friends, teachers, relatives, your dentist, your orthodontist as possible. You will be surprised at the responses you receive. You may cut an paste your own name and address, no need to repeatedly enter it.
3.) The spread sheet is due on Sunday, December 2. Yes, you have until midnight!
4.) Please send your competed spread sheets to Steve Anderson (parent of 2 time veteran volunteer Lexi Anderson) at the following email: stephendanderson@charter.net by the due date. We need several days to aggregate the spread sheets and then send them off to the printing service.
About the Mailing
The chapter provides the body of the letter
The "mail merge" adds your personal information and your donor's address
The chapter prints the letters, the outgoing envelope and the return envelope (to you the vol)
You sign the letter, add a personal note where appropriate (Thanks Aunt Betty!)
You will provide a first class stamp for the letter and the return letter. If you have fifty (50) addresses, that's 100 stamps.
At the December 9 letter writing party we will:
Sign the letters
Stuff the letters, return envelope, and a fund raising brochure into the outgoing envelope
Training Director, Lauren Burns will have a presentation on the programs and countries that you may apply for in January
Parents are welcome to attend but do not need to attend
We will have pizza at 5 pm.
